From their own memory, ChatGPT and Gemini come back to one Istanbul name again and again: Dentgroup Dental Clinics, named in 101 of 144 answers given without web search. Once the models look things up online, that name drops to 14 of 96 answers. CityDent Istanbul Dental Clinic moves the other way, from 7 of 144 to 25 of 96, and Esnan Dental Clinics surfaced only when the models searched.
Gemini and ChatGPT also part ways over Maltepe Dental Clinic. Gemini named it in 56 of 120 answers, while ChatGPT named it in just 2 of 120. One clinic on the list, Özel Alman Diş Polikliniği, never came up in any answer at all, whether the models searched the web or answered from memory.

A question that itself named a clinic is left out, since its answer would name that clinic by force. The clinics we tracked are the ones we chose to measure in Istanbul and the clinics they compete with for the same patients.
